It’s the EMOB

Shelton’s pretty excited about the textbook that we’re lugging around for this class. It’s called Experiences in Management and Organizational Behavior, and it has so many authors that their names almost run off the front cover. I bought this lovely book through the Amazon.com marketplace, where it was advertised to be in good condition. If this is a book that’s in good condition, please don’t let me see any of the books that this guy is sending out in bad condition.

In any case, Shelton gives us a pretty good workout with this EMOB … on the first night of class, we already had four EMOB exercises and another exercise to set up the course with a focus on expectations, concerns and resources. Shelton takes expectations pretty seriously, and even made the statement that everything in life can be put in the context of expectations met, expectations exceeded, or expectations violated.
